She was the first woman hired to the middle management team as the park was developing into a national family attraction. Leveraging her growing reputation, she served in numerous management roles, eventually becoming the only woman on the executive staff. In 1992, she established Cynthia A. Sudor Enterprises, her own marketing business. She was hired as founding vice president of sales and marketing for the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, a $52.9 million, first-of-itskind complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, from 1998 to 2001. She then returned to her marketing business. In 2013, Ms. Sudor founded CARACYN Publishing LLC, where she publishes new authors whose books have garnered national awards. An award-winning author herself, she has written and published a children’s book series, “Adventures at Green Apple Acres,” which received two international Literacy Select Book of the Year Awards from Executive Women International at their annual conventions in Dallas in 2012 and San Diego in 2013.
