In 2019, the Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center was recognized for their 10th anniversary. She notes that they always conduct their fundraising activities during the month of April, as April is recognized across the United States as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Although her career has been suffused with highlights, Ms. Bruder is especially proud of how Mission Kids has changed others’ lives and has already made a substantial impact on society. Notably, their impact is not only in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; their impact has been felt across the nation, and they are incredibly respected in the industry. Looking toward the future, Ms. Bruder intends to remain involved with Mission Kids, and emphasizes that they are in the process of developing an educational system for children ages 8 through 13. As her own children were getting older, Maripeg Bruder discovered new spare time to spend. Shortly thereafter, her friend came across a newspaper article regarding the Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center, which was a new nonprofit that was trying to find a location at that point in time. Interested in their mission to advocate for the awareness and prevention of child abuse, Ms. Bruder’s friend contacted the director, and subsequently, they conducted their first fundraiser over 12 years ago. As time progressed, Mission Kids became Ms. Bruder’s passion, and since 2012, she has excelled as the chairperson of their board of trustees. Earlier in her career, Ms. Bruder served as vice president of Carey Limousine in Beverly Hills, California, between 1982 and 1985, as well as a sales representative for Advanced Medical from 1985 to 1988. She draws upon a prior associate degree in marketing and merchandising from Marymount University, which she obtained in 1976. Outside of her primary work endeavors, Mr. Bruder has also dedicated her time to her community, in which she has done fundraising for her local Catholic Church, as well as for the MARIPEG BRUDER CHAIRPERSON, BOARD OF TRUSTEES Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center Villanova, PA
