EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Macomb Park District Macomb, IL Climbing the ladder of success, Tiffany Negron commenced her career at the age of 15 when she began working in the restaurant industry. Starting out as a waitress, she then was promoted to bartender then manager until accruing enough funds to open her first food truck with her father. After a brief period of time, the food truck was popular enough to grow into a full-fledged restaurant named El Lechon de Negron, of which Ms. Negron has been the owner since 2016. In her restaurant, she serves authentic Puerto Rican food and intends to open more locations in her area. Additionally, she would like to develop a third catering truck and establish the first Puerto Rican drive-through restaurant in the United States. Supported by an associate degree in business administration from Union County College in 2006, Ms. Negron also contributes her spare time to local animal shelters and is a member of her local Chamber of Commerce. For its success, El Lechon de Negron was named Business of the Month in Union, New Jersey, and was recognized among the Best Puerto Rican Restaurants in America by Big 7 Travel.
