169 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS CONSULTANT IN CARDIOLOGY (RETIRED) Pfizer Headquarters Frederiksberg, Denmark DIRECTOR Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center Lewisburg, PA JAN BUCH, MD After receiving an MD from Copenhagen University in 1969, Dr. Jan Buch began his career at Rigs Hospital, where he served the Department of Cardiology and Aviation Medicine for six years. Upon completing a medical and surgical residency at Diakonissestiftelsen in 1977, he went on to serve Rigs Hospital in their Department of Cardiology’s Laboratory until 1983. Subsequently, Dr. Buch excelled as a specialist in cardiology and cardiologist at Copenhagen University prior to joining Pfizer, Inc., in Copenhagen in 1987. First a medical director for four years, he then relocated to New York, where he was a medical director, team leader and global team leader at Pfizer Headquarters between 1992 and 2009. Until his retirement in 2015, Dr. Buch was a consultant in cardiology. Throughout his career, Dr. Buch taught courses across Europe and the United States, and has been a lecturer in ancient Japanese culture, specifically on woodblock books. He holds the largest private collection in Scandinavia: 2,000 volumes of Japanese woodblock books from 1768 onward. He also holds a patient for Pfizer’s Caduet and received the Pfizer Achievement Award from the ASCOT Project in 2005. Since 2018, Dr. Timothy Campbell has excelled as the director of the Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center, where he administers to all nursing programs and maintains responsibility for daily operations and maintaining the nursing programs’ approvals through the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. Prior to this laudable appointment, Dr. Campbell served as an assistant professor at Luzerne County Community College, an instructor of nursing at Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University, and a nurse practitioner at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. At the inception of his career, he served Bridging the Gaps as an assistant to the director. Drawing upon a BSN and an MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Campbell later received a PhD in nursing education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2013. To remain abreast of developments in nursing, he is the treasurer of the Pennsylvania Association of Practical Nurse Administrators and the Area Agency on Aging, as well as a member of the National League of Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau International.
