224 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Possessing an innate desire to help others during their times of need, Jeremy Kraut-Ordover intended from a young age to accrue like-minded individuals with the capacity to help in order to serve the greater good. Since 2013, he has excelled as the vice president of individual giving and the deputy director of individual giving with Habitat for Humanity, a revered and global nonprofit organization that focuses its efforts on helping individuals find affordable, reliable housing across all 50 U.S. states and in approximately 70 countries. Mr. Kraut-Ordover is a certified fundraising executive through CFRE International and holds a certificate in fundraising and development from the University of California San Diego, which he obtained in 2006. Prior to his current roles, Mr. Kraut-Ordover served as a development specialist for the San Diego State University Research Foundation from 2001 to 2003 and the associate director of development for the California Western School of Law from 2003 to 2006. Subsequently he excelled as a major gift officer for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital between 2006 and 2011 and as director of development and campaign strategist for University Hospitals from 2011 to 2013. At his alma mater, Goucher College, Mr. KrautOrdover serves as a board member and class fund manager. He has also flourished as a board member and treasurer of OpenIntro since 2012. Holding a BA in history and political science fromGoucher College and an MPA from Arizona State University, Mr. Kraut-Ordover is especially proud of his numerous achievements. Out of them all, however, he feels grateful to have closed a $40 million gift for Habitat for Humanity in December 2020. He attributes his success to good fortune, his natural desire to help others, perseverance and grit. As a testament to his success, Mr. Kraut-Ordover received a Congressional Proclamation in 1995. Looking toward the future, he intends to continue fundraising and leading teams, as well as create future fundraisers to help those in need.
