24 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine In her youth, Dr. Margareta A. Greeley-Potter’smother and grandmother set a resounding influence on her life, always encouraging her to receive a good education and work diligently. Emigrating from Sweden to the United States at the age of 18, she exhibited great skills and perseverance, which allowed her to work with a family in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The family recognized her artistic talent and built her a studio.
