CRAWFORD By the age of 9, Caren L. Crawford understood the mechanics behind transistor radios, drawing upon the influence of her father, who was an owner of 12 patents. Desiring to enter the fields of technology and manufacturing, she received a certification in personal management and administration in 1980 and became ISO 9000 certified. Over the course of her career, Ms. Crawford served such entities as Bently Nevada Corporation, Apple Computers, Convergent Technologies and Sun Microsystems. She also served KLA-Tencor Corporation, NETDelivery Corp., Datatrend Information Systems and Qwest Communications. Prior to retiring in 2010, she excelled as the senior branch officer administrator at Edward Jones for eight years. Maintaining membership with the Association for Supply Chain Management and the American Society for Quality Control, among others, Ms. Crawford holds a BA in education and English and an additional BA in psychology and childhood trauma, both from Adams State University. Civically engaged, she is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She cites a highlight of her career to be when she led an assembly line during a time of strife, in which she successfully saved the jobs of several employees. Jessica Hodge desired to become a pilot since she was 6 years old. After much research, she decided to enroll in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as the university had one of the largest Air Force ROTC detachments. While studying toward her bachelor’s degree, she served as a front desk assistant and a design team leader until earning a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 2015. After earning her degree, she served as a flight test engineer for the Naval Air Systems Command between 2015 and 2017. Since 2018, she has excelled as a flight test engineer for L3Harris Advanced Systems & Technologies. Prior to attaining her degree, Ms. Hodge served the Bureau of Land Management as a helicopter crewmember from 2013 to 2014 and the U.S. Forest Service as a wind-land firefighter in 2012. Although her career has been suffused with highlights, she is especially proud of being the youngest flight test engineer to fly a vehicle for the first time in under one year. Looking forward, she intends to conduct large-scale coordination at large entities, such as Boeing or The Pentagon. JESSICA HODGE
