Serving as chief executive officer and chief smile officer, he has led the WSD team in their mission to deliver quick, efficient and innovative teeth whitening solutions, all while providing unparalleled customer service. Some products to their credit have included teeth whitening pens, kits, gel syringes, strips and trays, all of which are custom-made for each customer’s fit. As a lifelong entrepreneur with a host of successful companies to his name, Mr. Heward was recognized with the Provincial Grant for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Ontario, Canada, for his prior business ventures. From a formative age, Mr. Heward worked in family-owned businesses, thereby providing him opportunities to witness firsthand the diligent work ethic and dedication required to start his own businesses. Influenced equally by his parents, who instilled in Mr. Heward the confidence needed to branch off onto his own, he began founding his own businesses while pursuing his undergraduate degree. To wit, he founded such businesses as Mr. Sparkle Windows and VIP Phoenix Transportation Service, which he has since sold. In 2007, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Wave Light Whitening services for medical, dental and aesthetic professional use, which introduced him to the emerging teeth whitening industry. He notes that he began as a “one-man smile maker,” and has since leveraged his past success to provide customers with the best teeth whitening experience possible. Mr. Heward lives by the motto, “We are in the business of making people smile – our customers, our employees and the world.” What was once a small business has now blossomed into an innovative enterprise, and WSD Labs USA boasts six warehouses with more than 700 clients in 30 different countries.
