Russo has excelled as the chief executive officer of EJ Russo, Inc., a private and independent consulting firm that establishes relationships with regulatory agencies across the State of New York. Specializing in providing health care regulatory services, such as submitting regulatory applications to the New York State Department of Health and New York State Office of Mental Health and following up with regulatory agencies, EJ Russo, Inc., has also worked on various projects for the development of new buildings and beds in clinical sites, among other services. Ms. Russo herself is particularly skilled in strategic planning, health care management, and responding to state entity requests for additional information and contingency requests. Prior to establishing her eponymously named consultancy firm, Ms. Russo worked in hospital administration at various New York-based health care systems, such as NYC Health + Hospitals and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She also served Weill Cornell Medical Center, culminating in over three decades of experience in the health care sector. Additionally, Ms. Russo has worked extensively with hospitals, mental health facilities, clinics and long-term care institutions. To pursue her career, Ms. Russo matriculated in New York University’s School of Continuing Education, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in health care planning in 1995. A noteworthy health care regulatory consultant, she attributes her success to her ability to learn new objectives and goals, as well as her continuous quest for lifelong learning. Always persevering in her endeavors, she has been renowned in the regulatory health care arena for her steady progression to increasingly high leadership positions and her diverse range of knowledge. Interested in the field of health care since her high school years, Ms. Russo originally desired to become a nurse. However, as time progressed, she decided to delve into the administrative side of medicine.
