100 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENTREPRENEURS Since 2017, Celeste Kuri has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of Super Soaps USA. Discovering her love of soap-making at 9 years old, she has since become an expert in all-natural cosmetics and fragrances. When she was younger, she often found it difficult to get young children to take a bath and, as an older sister, she found that creating artisan soap products helped in her siblings’ baths. She notably established her business and registered trademark at 12 years old. Over time, Ms. Kuri’s soap making turned into an enterprise, and coupled with her love of the ocean, she transformed her business into one that aids environmental conservation. Her business slogan is, “Washing the world of its troubles one soap at a time.” With Super Soaps USA, Ms. Kuri creates artisanal soap products of all shapes and sizes, including flamingos, manatees and sea turtles. She donates a portion of her profits to organizations that work to protect endangered wildlife. Likewise, her soaps have also raised cancer awareness and generate employment for single mothers. Alongside creating her all-natural soaps, Ms. Kuri is responsible for the company’s directing, manufacturing and distributing of products, including sales, marketing and social media management. Ms. Kuri is a member of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild. She is currently enrolled in several college courses and was certified in Mexican Curanderia through the University of New Mexico in 2021. Likewise, she is fluent in English, Spanish and French, and is currently studying Chinese. As a testament to her success, she twice received the Presidential Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence from the President of the United States. She was also honored by the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress in 2019 and presented with the Business with the Most Potential Award from the OCPL in 2018. Alongside her primary path, Ms. Kuri is a published author with numerous stories published in the horror anthologies “Thrill of the Hunt.” She has further written scripts for television episodes of the children’s cartoon “El Show de los Tecolotes” in Latin America.
