During his tenure, he also earned anMAT in theology from the Fuller Theological Seminary. Now recognized by Young Life as a trustee emeritus, Mr. Alberti has sat on the board of directors of the Military Community Youth Ministry since 2011, where he previously served as chairman from2014 to 2019. Furthermore, he is on the board of trustees of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, having previously served on the board of directors of the Tyndale Theological Seminary and the Chosen People Ministries. Although he has achieved much, Mr. Alberti is especially proud of his tenure in the Air Force, where he was promoted from an entry-level second lieutenant to first lieutenant and captain. In light of his military success, he earned the Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service in 1972, as well as the Commendation Medal for Outstanding Achievement in 1971. Drawing upon a BBA in economics and an MA in business from the Tipple College of Business at the University of Iowa, Kerry Barton Alberti enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served to the rank of captain between 1968 and 1972. Leveraging his advanced degrees, he was soon hired by the Chase Manhattan Bank, where he notably served as vice president and director of management science between 1972 and 1979. For the following three years, he was vice president of Avis, Inc., followed by an appointment with the Bankers Trust Company as senior vice president until 1988. Between 1988 and 1993, Mr. Alberti served as the managing director of Midland Financial Services at Midland Bank in London. Shortly thereafter, he excelled as the senior executive vice president at the Marine Midland Bank from 1993 to 1997 in New York, where he managed portfolios for former President Donald Trump. Mr. Alberti joined Young Life in 1999, first serving as senior vice president of services until 2005 and then as chief financial officer from 2008 until his retirement in 2011.
