JUDITH ANN CASKEY Dr. Judith Ann Caskey is an Effective Schools Framework (ESF) Facilitator for Texas Education Agency and Region 13 Education Service Center. She supports district and campus continuous improvement activities through the facilitation of the ESF diagnostic process. Since 2006, she has excelled as a professional service provider for Region 13 ESC and the Texas Center for District and School Support. She has worked with over 40 campuses that were designated as improvement required. Earlier, she served Region 8 ESC as director of curriculum and instruction and as a field service agent and was the secondary curriculum instructor at Texas A&M Consolidated ISD. She was also an educator at Waco ISD, A&M Consolidated ISD, Bellville ISD, Johnson City ISD and Daingerfield ISD. Drawing upon a BA and MS from Baylor University, Dr. Caskey completed an EdD at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2020. She was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Delta Kappa and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She is the past president of the Nu, Delta Eta and Alpha Upsilon chapters of Delta Kappa Gamma and earned Achievement Awards at Nu chapter in 1988 and Alpha Upsilon chapter in 2021. Since 2004, Dr. Debra J. Coffey has excelled as an associate professor in the department of elementary and early childhood education at Kennesaw State University, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses. Her chapters, articles, manuals and seven textbooks resulted from extensive collaboration and highlight innovations in multicultural literature and strategies for literacy development. She shared these innovations in professional development sessions for teachers in Belize, Costa Rica and Ecuador. A writer and editorial board member, including the Journal of Invitational Theory and Practice, Dr. Coffey received the 2018 A. B. Herr Award for Outstanding Literary Instruction from the Association of Educators and Researchers. She was named the 2010 Bagwell College of Education’s Distinguished Faculty Member for Undergraduate Service. She established collaborative networks as KSU Phi Kappa Phi president, regional coordinator and board of trustees member for the International Alliance for Invitational Education, and KSU Kappa Delta Pi advisor. She serves as the editor of the Journal of Young Adult and Children’s Literature and president of the CARE Special Interest Group of the International Literacy Association. DR. DEBRA J. COFFEY
