93 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING Encouraged to enter the field of engineering from a young age, S. Michael Feroz earned a BS in civil engineering from the University of Peshawar in his native Pakistan in 1964, where he graduated as valedictorian. Upon his arrival to the United States, he received an MS in civil engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 1966. A registered professional engineer in several U.S. states, he is also a certified hazardous waste remediation engineer, geotechnical engineer and water resources engineer. Notably, Mr. Feroz is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers. At the inception of his career in 1966, Mr. Feroz served from office engineer to project engineer at LeRoy Crandall & Associate until 1972. For the following 18 years, he was a chief geotechnical engineering specialist for Bechtel Corporation. Other appointments to his credit have included as a deputy director of tunnel construction for Parsons, a project executive for Gilbane Building Company and a quality assurance manager for Seattle Tunnel Partners. Since 2015, he has excelled as director of construction for MRJF Consulting, Inc. Mr. Feroz possesses more than 35 years of expertise in professional engineering, design and construction management, environmental investigations, cleanup of hazardous waste contaminated sites, and soil improvement for foundation support, among other areas. He has contributed much of his time to infrastructure, water and wastewater projects, as well as roads, highways, bridges and railroad tunnels. He also boasts significant experience on multi-billion dollar projects in the Middle East. For his success, Mr. Feroz received a Gold Medal and the President of Pakistan Cash Award. He also earned the Blue Heron Award for Superior Construction Management. A lifetime member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a member of the Society of Mining and Metals, he is especially proud of working on the largest transportation tunnel in Seattle, which was built beneath the high-rise towers.
