99 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING Drawing upon more than 18 years of experience in the oil and energy industries, Shyann West has excelled in a myriad of roles across the world with Schlumberger Limited. At the inception of her tenure with the company, she served as a field engineer in Canada, a service quality coach in Victoria, Texas, and a field training champion in Midland, Texas. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2018, she was an intouch engineer, procurement leader, customer service manager, manufacturing product line manager and test facilities manager in Sugar Land, Texas. Likewise, she served the company in Houston as a commercial manager and data analytics engineer, as well as a workforce resources manager. Since 2020, Ms. West has thrived as a field development and engagement manager with Schlumberger in Doha, Qatar. In her role, she takes responsibility for the training and development of hired employees. During this time, she has doubled the revenue of the company and has planned for proper compensation costs. Earlier in her career, Ms. West served Imperial Oil Canada in supply and technical services in 2003. Civically involved as well, Ms. West previously served on the board of the United Way’s Woman’s Initiative Board and is a current member of the Women’s Global Leadership Conference in Houston, where she started in 2010. She has also been certified as a senior professional coach through the Coach Transformation Academy since 2020. Demonstrating versatility in her field, she has further authored the book, “Badder You.” Ms. West holds a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical engineering from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, which she obtained in 2004. Currently, she is working towards an MBA in international management from the Geneva Business School in Switzerland. Looking toward the future, she intends to witness the continued growth and success of her career.
