Barner always enjoyed trucks and driving, drawing upon influence fromhis two uncles and godfather, who were all truck drivers. Leveraging the inspiration from his family, Mr. Barner decided to delve into the transportation industry himself following his honorable discharge from the United States Navy and United States Navy Reserves in 1999. Employed as a truck driver for a majority of his career, he has become comfortable driving upwards of 12 hours per day. After spending two decades in the driving business, Mr. Barner established Ajani G Logistics LLC, where he has served as president since 2020. Previously, Mr. Barner earned an associate degree in business management and administration from Bauder College in 2008, where he was also inducted into Beta Phi Kappa. He attributes his success to his motivation to consistently better himself and his business, as well as to serve as an inspiration to his son, Ajani. Throughout his career, as well as in establishing Ajani G Logistics, Mr. Barner desires to inspire his son to put his mind to anything he wants to accomplish in life. Although he has experienced many career highlights, Mr. Barner is especially proud of being a dedicated father and a devoted member of his community. He also considers his time spent in the United States Navy to be a grand achievement as the military taught him the significance of discipline and sacrifice for the greater good. Likewise, Mr. Barner is grateful to have utilized his experience with past employers in the transportation industry and applied his vast breadth of knowledge to his current endeavor. Looking toward the future, Mr. Barner intends to begin accruing his own fleet of trucks. He started first with one truck, and he would like to purchase additional trucks to hire more employees. Ultimately, he would like to use his business as a foundation upon which others can achieve greater success in their own professional and personal lives. CEDRIC B.
