The photograph is the first operational image from the space telescope. Florida Disaster Hurricane Ian strikes the state of Florida on September 28, 2022, resulting in over $50 billion in damages and more than 100 fatalities across Cuba and the United States. It is the deadliest hurricane to hit Florida since the Great Labor Day Hurricane of 1935. In Remembrance Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom from 1952 to 2022, passes away on September 8, 2022 at the age of 96. Her reign of 70 years marks the longest recorded of any British monarch and the longest recorded of any female head of state in history.
