Since 2007, he has served the City of Milwaukee inmyriad capacities with the realm of hospitality, having been an entertainment manager, director of sales and marketing, business consultant and entrepreneur. For the past five years, he has excelled as president of Milwaukee Pride, where he lends his considerable expertise to celebrating diversity and inclusion within the LBGT community. Mr. Shaver holds a BA in theater and an MS in sports management from Cardinal Stritch University, which he obtained in 2007 and 2011, respectively. A frequent guest speaker and visitor at several universities, he notably helped create the Sports and Entertainment Management Program at Concordia University in 2011. He lives by the mantra, “Take each day with extreme intentionality and authenticity.” Civically involved, he volunteers for park clean-ups and is a board member of the Visiting Milwaukee Marketing Committee. In 2020, he was recognized by Bus Times Media for his entrepreneurial spirit and success. Richard Taylor Swift was inspired by his uncle Robert Driver, who was an acclaimed individual known throughout the State of New Jersey’s historical circles in the 20th century. Mr. Swift was inspired by his uncle’s entrepreneurial spirit and developed his own company starting in 1994. Go Green Lawns LLC offers premium lawn treatments as a service throughout Omaha, Nebraska, and Eastern Nebraska. Likewise, Swift Lawn Solutions LLC is a fertilizer supply company that also engages in lobbying activities. Mr. Swift is a graduate of both the Loomis-Chaffee School and Drew University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the latter academic institution. He also attended the Creighton School of Law in Omaha during the late 1980s. Nominated for the prestigious Integrity Award from the Better Business Bureau, Mr. Swift is noteworthy for his success with his lawn companies.
