134 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENTREPRENEURS Hailing from a lineage of furniture business owners on her husband’s side, Carly E. Werner married into the business over time. Since 2017, she has excelled as a co-owner, designer and visual merchandiser for Bassett Furniture, Inc. Bassett Furniture is a family-owned business that not only provides for Ms. Werner and her husband, but also their community at large. Previously, she served with the UPS Store for numerous years, as well as held various parttime jobs. Drawing upon training in furniture restoration and a design certification from Bassett Furniture, she received a bachelor’s degree in family and marriage science from Brigham Young University in 2022. Ms. Werner is also expecting her first child. Ms. Werner has been featured in numerous articles in magazines, including Meridian Lifestyle magazine. She won a Store Award for second most overall improvement in sales by Bassett Furniture. She attributes much of her success to the support of her husband, as well as her long experience with interior design. Likewise, Ms. Werner credits her pragmatism and ability to empathize with others as factors to her success. CO-OWNER, DESIGNER, VISUAL MERCHANDISER Bassett Furniture Meridian, ID Since 1995, Todd Williams has excelled as the owner of Williams Service Center Tire & Alignment, in which he and his father provide services such as oil changes and front-end alignments for a range of automobiles. Williams Service Center Tire & Alignment was initially purchased by Mr. Williams’ father in the 1990s and, upon his graduation from high school, Mr. Williams has taken the helm of the full-service gas station, repair and tire shop. While excelling in his role as owner, he has also completed coursework at the University of North Alabama. Although he has experienced several crowning achievements, Mr. Williams is especially proud of his position of being self-employed. Alongside his repair shop, he is also the owner of a farm and cattle ranch, in which he hopes to invest full-time after retiring fromWilliams Service Center Tire & Alignment. Outside of his primary endeavors, he is a sponsor for local schools and Little League, as well as a donor for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Looking forward, Mr. Williams intends to spend more time at his ranch and explore the natural beauty of New England.
