Mann graduated with honors from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1970. Encouraged by his peers to pursue a doctorate degree, as well as continue his athleticism, he was introduced to the idea of law by the varsity coach. As time progressed, Mr. Mann developed a strong interest in becoming a lawyer and, subsequently, received an LLB from the University of Windsor in 1974. While studying toward his law degree, he audited the University of Michigan Medical School, thereby prompting his interest in medical malpractice law. At the inception of his career, Mr. Mann served as a lawyer for Glithero, Spearn & Mann from 1978 to 1981. Since 1981, he has excelled as a trial lawyer and the president of the Paul Mann Professional Corporation in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, where he excels in trial law, litigation and medical malpractice. Although his career has been suffused with highlights, he is especially proud of serving as senior counsel for a myriad of firms and practicing medical malpractice for plaintiffs for more than 40 years. Notably, Mr. Mann has had clients across Canada from Nova Scotia to Alberta, Princeton and Ontario. A member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, International Bar Association, Law Society of Upper Canada and Canada Bar Association, among other organizations, Mr. Mann has received numerous accolades over the course of his extensive career. Named Lawyer of the Year by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, he was honored for litigating in the first trial in Canada regarding autism. Additionally, the Canada Bar Association named him one of the Top 10 Litigators as Peer-Reviewed in Canada in 2010. Looking toward the future, Mr. Mann intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career. Married with one daughter, he enjoys reading and spending time in his cottage. PAUL M.
