Influenced by his father, who was in the finance industry, William W. Drennen desired to pursue his own passion for finance upon his high school graduation. While earning a bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College, he served as a law clerk for the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce and summer analyst for Goldman Sachs, where he worked with mortgage security trading. Punctuating his receipt of his academic degrees, Mr. Drennen also served as a summer associate with MHR Lewis, through which he drafted memorandums regarding international tax treaties between the U.S. and South America. Additionally, he excelled as an intern in the enforcement division of the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission in 2017 prior to receiving a JD from Washington University in St. Louis in 2018. Since receiving his law degree, Mr. Drennen has served as an associate with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. Looking toward the future of his career, he intends to continue forging his own path with the firm and attain greater success. Additionally, he would like continue providing pro bono work with the Cataloger of Veterans Network. Drawing upon a BA in history, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Minnesota in 1979, Jeff Howard Eckland obtained a JD from the University of Chicago Law School in 1982 and was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar. Spending 22 fruitful years as partner with Faegre & Benson LLP between 1982 and 2004, he has served as partner of Eckland & Blando in Minneapolis since 2004. In his practice, he has focused on government contracts and general commercial litigation, and has further litigated in state and federal courts across the country. He has also counseled government contractors and subcontractors on transactional and compliance issues, pursued claims against state and federal governments, and represented businesses and individuals in commercial disputes. Mr. Eckland maintains membership with the public contract law and science and technology sections of the American Bar Association and is a fellow of the National Contract Management Association. He holds an AV Rating through Martindale-Hubbell, was named a Super Lawyer, and was recognized among the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in Minnesota by The National Trial Lawyers.
