229 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine KEVIN BART MCCARTHY Drawing upon nearly five decades of experience in law, Kevin Bart McCarthy excelled as the original U.S. Trustee at Indianapolis in the region that encompassed downstate Illinois and all of Indiana, having served both in government and private practice. He holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and a JD from Indiana University in Indianapolis. Prior, he served as a subcommittee counsel for the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, and then as counsel to the Committee on Public Works and Transportation for the U.S. House of Representatives. He was also first assistant chief counsel for the Department of Transportation in Springfield, Illinois. He commenced his career as a bail commissioner for the Municipal Court of Marion County, Indiana. Mr. McCarthy became a personal friend of Pope John Paul II and later continuedhis education at the University of St. Thomas Aquinas inRome, receiving a Licentiate in Sacred Theology in 2013, which he considers a career highlight. He has authored articles on lawand an article in amajor theological journal. Looking forward, he intends to provide counsel as an experienced, accomplished advisor on transportation, environmental, parliamentarian, commercial and ecclesiastical law. Since 2006, Martin Mushkin has excelled as the principal and attorney with the Law Office of Martin Mushkin LLC in Greenwich, Connecticut. Focusing his practice on litigation, corporate finance and intellectual property rights, he is notably for serving as counsel to both private and public companies across a span of different industries. Mr. Mushkin has litigated several FINRA arbitrations and was a mediator for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York for nearly 20 years. Earlier in his career, he served as a Judge Advocate General officer in the U.S. Air Force and a senior trial attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission, among other roles. Mr. Mushkin holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Wisconsin and a JD from Harvard Law School. He has held an AV Preeminent Rating through Martindale-Hubbell for numerous decades and is a past lecturer for the New York State Bar Association. Outside of his law appointments, Mr. Mushkin is a member of the Greenwich Town Democratic Committee and the American Alpine Club, having served as an expeditionary mountaineer with several ascents in Alaska.
