148 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine FINANCE AND INSURANCE Lila O. Pecht was attracted to the field of accounting since she was in the eighth grade. She completed a BBA in general business at the University of Texas at Austin in 1960 prior to starting work in her field. She served as a bookkeeper and secretary for a real estate company and worked for a private tax accounting firm prior to opening her own tax accounting practice in January 1970. She established Pecht’s Business Services, where she remained owner until 1983. Alongside this venture, she excelled as owner of Flip Flop Reports, a real estate foreclosure reporting service, until July 2003. She continued research of foreclosure postings until her retirement in 2017. Ms. Pecht attributes her success to her confidence, discretion and empathy with her clients. She is especially proud to have succeeded as a woman in predominantly male-oriented industries, and she notes that although she encountered many obstacles due to her gender and age, she still established a resounding name for herself in the fields. Looking forward, she intends to continue enjoying her retirement. OWNER (RETIRED) Pecht’s Business Services Georgetown, TX Keith Vance Roach is a noteworthy United States Army veteran and current insurance agent who has been serving New York Life Company since 2020. Previously spending 36 years in the Army, he commenced his military career as an operations manager in 1984, remaining in that role until 2000. From 2000 to 2016, he was a senior manager of project management and, from 2013 to 2017, he served as the director of logistics operations. Prior to attaining his current position, Mr. Roach was the director of logistics and material readiness between 2017 and 2020. He earned his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through the Army. An alumnus of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Mr. Roach received a BS in interdisciplinary leadership from Trident University International and holds myriad certificates, including as a certified lean practitioner, certified logistics technician, certified master resilience trainer and certified logistics associate. As a testament to his military success, Mr. Roach earned the Legion of Merit, a Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Medal. He cites the highlight of his career, however, was his appointment as a G357 sergeant major of the Combined Arms Sustainment Command.
