169 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Inspired to pursue nursing from a young age, Dr. Lillie Quince Clark Head desired to attain higher education to expand her wealth of knowledge, receiving two associate degrees fromRoosevelt Junior College and Palm Beach (Junior) State College. She later earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in 1991. In addition to her nursing training, she has been interested in ministerial services, having been raised in a religious family. Her grandfather established 13 different churches across the east coast of Florida, two of which have been designated as historical landmarks. Today, her generational downline reveals that there are 14 active churches within the United States, continuing the legacy of church ministry established by her grandfather. While keeping her family’s legacy in mind, Dr. Head received a two-year ministry certificate in 1993 from Rhema Bible (School) College, followed by a doctorate in religious education from the Evangelical Bible College and Seminary in 1995. Dividing her time between nursing and the ministry, Dr. Head is a Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Florida. For the first three-and-ahalf years of her fruitful 30-year nursing career, she excelled as a nurse in the medical, surgical, maternity and cardiac areas at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida. Thereafter, she served the Delray Beach Health Department as a school nurse, school nurse supervisor, clinical nurse and hospital coordinator, concluding her service in Delray Beach as school nurse supervisor for South Palm Beach County. Dr. Head retired from the Lantana Health Department in 2007, after serving as Overseas Immunization Clinician. Currently, Dr. Head dedicates her time to the ministry of her local church, where she serves as assistant pastor. She is writing a series of books, titled “The Salvation Love Series,” which is pending publication. Attributing her success to her love for humanity, she intends to build a museum, which will focus on the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. She would also like to build a historical community center that will showcase the history of the cities of Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and surrounding areas of Palm Beach County.
