Presently, Mr. Peck is working with the latest technology to update their gallery lighting components. Mr. Peck considers himself an amateur astrophotographer and is a member of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society. He enjoys photographing outer space, constellations and areas of the night sky. Mr. Peck is known throughout his company and community as an engaging individual who is always willing to give a helping hand. He considers everyone with whom he works to be a partner with whom he may collaborate. Mr. Peck is especially proud of the excitement his partners experience when they successfully collaborate on a project in their trade. Roland Ellis Peck, third generation in the photographic industry, grew up at his father’s photography supply store, where he oftenworked to help the family business. His paternal grandfather was also a photofinisher—an individual who develops and prints film photography in a darkroom. Drawing upon these experiences, Mr. Peck developed an innate interest in photography and its involved processes, particularly on the printing side. Over the years, Mr. Peck’s career has covered various arenas in the photo industry, lending himself to a dynamic understanding of his field. To this day, he continually stays updated on the technologies and emerging methodologies in his ever-evolving industry. With his accruing knowledge, Mr. Peck is considered a master in the art of printing. Since 2006, Mr. Peck has focused his career serving as the director of research and development at Peter Lik USA. Based in Las Vegas, this facility was established by renowned Australian master photographer, Peter Lik, and produces high-end fine art photography printing and framing. Mr. Peck oversees the research and development department and ensures the quality standard of all photographs that are produced for Peter Lik’s galleries.
