Hailing from a hard-working family, John Knoeller was inspired by his grandfather, August Annicchiarico, who was the owner of his own masonry business. Likewise, Mr. Knoeller’s uncle, Nick Sita, was a general foreman who brought him on jobs during the summers. Beginning at the age of 12, the young Mr. Knoeller spent his spare time pouring concrete and helping his family in high-rise apartment building renovations. Upon turning 18 years old, he decided to pursue his own venture and learn every aspect of building from design to installation. He notes that his passion for the field of construction has been ingrained since the seventh grade, where he completed mechanical drafting alongside his regular academic studies. This furthered his passion for all types of construction. Now drawing upon over 40 years in the construction business, Mr. Knoeller has excelled as the chief executive officer of the Cornerstone Construction Group since 1981.
