Ms. DeLawrence excelled as chief operating officer for six years until 2021, when she was named chief executive officer and vice president of clinical care. Earlier in her career, she served in a myriad of executive-level roles with Life Sciences Collaborative, Kerathin LLC, KPD Consulting, Prism Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Dover Communications. Additionally, she served Astra Merck, PricewaterhouseCoopers and General Electric’s Aerospace Division beginning in the early 1980s. Drawing upon a bachelor’s degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 1980, Ms. DeLawrence has always desired to give back to companies and her communities, as well as grow as a professional. Delving into small entrepreneurial businesses after acquiring the necessary skills from her former employers, particularly pharmaceuticals companies, she developed an intrigue with the health care market early on. To attest to her success, Ms. DeLawrence received the ONP Woman of the Year Award in 2020. She is a member of the American Orthotics and Prosthetics Association. Listening to her mother and her friends discuss psychology fascinated the young Dr. DeVaris, and she sought to pursue the discipline herself. Drawing upon a BA in psychology from Adelphi University, MA in clinical psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and PhD in clinical psychology from Seton Hall University, she has excelled as a psychologist in private practice in Summit, New Jersey, since 2006. Earlier in her career, she worked as a senior psychologist for the R. Hall Community Mental Health Center, psychologist for the Greystone Psychiatric Hospital, and psychological intern through the New Jersey State Intern Program. She also thrived as a caseworker for the New York City Welfare Department and an alcohol and drug rehabilitation counselor for the United States Army. Notably, Dr. DeVaris is the developer of a newmind-body integration technique for body dysmorphia and has been recognized extensively for her expertise. Named to Top Doctors of New Jersey between 2014 and 2018, she also earned a Distinguished Achievement Award from the New Jersey Psychological Association.
