35 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT At the inception of her career in 1979, Anna Denise Little, MFA, served as a researcher and technical assistant for WFSU-TV in Tallahassee, Florida, while studying toward her bachelor’s degree. Receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University in 1980, she relocated to New Jersey, where she served on the editorial staff of Burrelles Press Clipping Service until 1982. Shortly thereafter, she was a customer service and sales representative for Funk & Wagnalls, Inc., from 1982 to 1984 and an editor and media coordinator for Murdoch Magazines in New York City from 1984 to 1986. In the latter stages of her career, Ms. Little servedHearst Magazines inNew York City as a promotional and editorial manager for the Direct Response Group Division from 1986 to 1988, as well as a sales representative for Good Housekeeping Magazine from 1988 to 1989. Briefly serving as a key account specialist at The Faxon Company in 1989, she then joined Cablevision in Newark, New Jersey, in 1991, where she excelled as a programming operator until departing in 2000. Realizing her aptitude for the creative arts, she relocated to California and attended the American Film Institute, from whom she received an MFA in screenwriting in 2004. Ms. Little has maintained membership with the Writers Society, the National Association of Female Executives, and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, for whom she was a member of the Blue Ribbon Panel and an Emmy judge for its New York City chapter. Additionally, she formerly sat on the research board of directors of the American Biographical Institute. Profiled in myriad Who’s Who publications, including in Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the Media and Communication, Who’s Who in the World andWho’s Who of AmericanWomen, Ms. Little was also the recipient of a First Place Prize in Screenwriting and an Indie Gathering Award in 2014.
