44 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Since 2009, Maria Rabinky has excelled as an artist and illustrator with Rabinky Art LLC in Richmond, Virginia, where she focuses her efforts on traditional and digital illustrations. Specializing in such areas as architectural and map illustrations, greeting cards, invitations and other custom illustration, Ms. Rabinky’s work has been featured in a myriad of publications. Notably, her art was selected for inclusion in Golf Digest, Bosch, Nissan, the Library of Congress and the University of California, among other clients. Prior to establishing her business, Ms. Rabinky worked as an artist with Rau & Associates, an illustrator with HKS, an architect with Griffey, Strollo Associate Architects, and an interior designer with the Art Fund of St. Petersburg. Drawing upon an MFA in art and architecture from the Academy of Fine Arts in her native Russia, Ms. Rabinky has experienced many highlights in her career. However, among these, she is especially proud of building a versatile portfolio based upon her work with her countless clients. She is especially revered for her map illustrations, which have been utilized by various puzzle companies. Looking forward, she intends to experience continued career growth. ARTIST, OWNER Rabinky Art LLC Richmond, VA Since 1994, Nancy Reynolds has excelled as the director of research at the George Balanchine Foundation, where she also directs the George Balanchine Foundation Video Archives. The archives are a series of collections of seasoned dancers on whom Balanchine created choreography, and they have since been leveraged to coach contemporary dancers. A former professional ballet dancer, Ms. Reynolds studied at the School of American Ballet in the 1950s and danced under the direction of Balanchine for five years at the New York City Ballet. Following this pursuit, she earned a BA at Columbia University, as well as studied at the Goethe Institut and the Sorbonne. In the 1960s, Ms. Reynolds served as an editor for Praeger Publishers. In 1977, she authored her first book, “Repertory in Review: Forty Years of the New York City Ballet,” which won the de la Torre Bueno Prize. She co-authored “No Fixed Points: Dance in the Twentieth Century” in 2003, among myriad other books and articles. Ms. Reynolds earned the 2012 Dance Critics Association Special Award for Dance Writing and the 2013 New York Dance and Performance Award for Outstanding Service to the Field of Dance.
