100 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION Christopher G. Rodriguez began serving the Rowan College of South Jersey’s Cumberland campus in Vineland, New Jersey, in 2000. First starting out as a student financial aid counselor when the college was named Cumberland County College, he served in that capacity for 15 years while simultaneously teaching as an adjunct professor. From there, he transitioned into a directorship role at Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey, in 2015, where he served as the assistant director of financial aid for four years. During this time, he also served the college as an adjunct professor. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to the rank of director of financial aid until departing from Middlesex County College in 2021. Since 2021, Mr. Rodriguez has excelled has the director of financial aid at the Rowan College of South Jersey’s Cumberland campus. To prepare for his career, Mr. Rodriguez pursued a formal education at Cumberland County College, from which he received an Associate of Science in paralegal studies in 2002. Subsequently, he earned a Bachelor of Science in social justice from Montclair State University in 2006 and an MPA from Strayer University in 2009. Notably, he is recognized as a certified financial aid administrator through the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. In an effort to remain abreast of developments in the academic industry, Mr. Rodriguez maintains affiliation with numerous organizations, including as co-chair of the membership committee of the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, and a member of the diversity and inclusion committee and co-chair of the membership committee of the New Jersey Association of Financial Aid Administrators. As a testament to his success, Mr. Rodriguez received the West Legal Studies Award through Cumberland County College in 2002. Most recently, he was honored with the EOF Champion Award in 2013. Attributing his success to the drive and passion that his parents instilled in him from a formative age, Mr. Rodriguez intends to resume teaching in higher education in the forthcoming future. Additionally, he aims to continue researching public policy, particularly on poverty and social injustice. CHRISTOPHER G.
