125 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING Following his high school graduation, Jeffrey C. Marz entered the manufacturing industry as a shop foreman for Hales Engineering in 1978. Remaining with the company for a decade, he subsequently served as vice president of production at SpectraF/X between 1988 and 1995. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Marz was the production manager at Haas Automation from 1995 to 2005, all while concurrently excelling as the operations manager for United Fabrication from 2001 to 2004. Later in his career, Mr. Marz served as a plant manager for Luxottica Optical Manufacturing for three years from 2004 to 2007. Since departing from this role, he has leveraged his entrepreneurial spirit and established the eponymously named Marz Precision Manufacturing, for which he has served as the owner since 2007. Since his company’s inception, Mr. Marz has held great pride in his small business, and he sees himself working for his company until he is unable to do so. Notably, he started with two CNC machines with support equipment; currently, he possesses seven high-quality CNC machines, as well as conventional machines and support equipment. Over the course of his career, he has also taken a myriad of college courses to expand his knowledge of the field. Among his career highlights, Mr. Marz is especially proud of running the manufacturing facility for Luxottica Optical Manufacturing in Salt Lake City, Utah, which was the largest eyewear manufacturer in the world. Likewise, he enjoyed his work with SpectraF/X, which allowed him to work on the film “Howard the Duck” and experience seeing his own name in the film credits. Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Marz is a past president and current board member of the Rotary Club of Lehi, Utah, with whom he was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. He is also affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
