Specializing in the interpretation, application and enforcement of environmental regulations for both governmental and private companies, Mr. Styers oversees compliance issues for the U.S. Congress, as well as performs such duties as conducting internal audits, writing agency policies and submitting environmental plans. Earlier in his career, he served Tetra Tech EM, Inc., PRC Environmental Management, Inc., and Geo/Resource Consultants, Inc. Mr. Styers served as a consultant for the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense and Centers for Disease Control and for Fortune 500 companies such as Proctor & Gamble. A licensed professional engineer in Virginia, he holds a BS in chemical engineering from Bucknell University. He received 12 Outstanding Performance Awards between 2006 and 2019, four Special Contribution Awards from the AOC, and Architect’s Team Awards for Business, for Process Excellence and for Projects between 2008 and 2014. Since 2018, John Raymond Tillinghast has excelled as a senior transportation engineer for Jacobs Engineering Group in Dallas. Since being appointed to his position, he has been responsible for assisting project managers and consultants to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), as well as providing technical advice, overseeing quality assurance and conducting reviews. Earlier in his career, Mr. Tillinghast served the TxDOT in Fort Worth, Texas, for nearly 30 years as a transportation engineer from 1990 to 2018. While there, he oversaw the development of complex corridor schematics for the development of the North Tarrant Express, which included securing environmental clearance and schematics approval for its construction. Receiving a BS in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1989, Mr. Tillinghast was inducted into Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering Honor Society. A licensed professional engineer in Texas and North Carolina, he has been honored with many accolades from the TxDOT and the Western Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.
