145 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENTREPRENEURS Javier Cosme migrated to the United States when he was 17 years old, whereupon he was a non-English speaking immigrant. Paving his own path to success, he worked various jobs at a cleaning company and Office Depot until he accrued enough finances to open his first business: selling sunglasses at a local mall. After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Mr. Cosme noticed less customers who frequented the mall and, therefore, decided to pursue higher education to further grow as an emerging entrepreneur. He moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Cosme collaborated with a longtime friend, David Sosa, and together, they established a sourcing and internal trading company. Currently, Mr. Cosme is an acclaimed real estate professional in the State of Texas and has served Texas Ally Real Estate Group, LLC as a realtor since 2009. Concurrent to this position, he has also been a realtor for Avanza Solutions, LLC since 2018. Notably, Mr. Cosme graduated from the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative program at Stanford University to further his wealth of knowledge in the field. Although he has achieved many highlights, Mr. Cosme is exceptionally proud of his 12-year company with Mr. Sosa, where they started with only $5,000 in the bank and grew their sales revenue to approximately $1 million in five years. From this success, they developed Avanza Solutions to empower other entrepreneurs to achieve success in their own real estate investments. For his terrific undertakings, Mr. Cosme was named Rookie of the Year by the Texas Ally Real Estate Group. Mr. Cosme attributes his success to his dedication to his clients and notes that his success is predicated on his clients’ success. He has always focused his efforts fully on their satisfaction. Driven by the motto, “Be persistent and consistent,” he looks forward the future, where he intends to expand Avanza Solutions through providing courses that will prepare its students for their futures.
