Shortly thereafter, he was the director of affirmative action at Central Washington University from 1973 to 1976. Later in his career, Mr. Webster excelled as an employment manager for BCSR, Boeing Computer Services inRichland,Washington, from1976 to1978 before becoming employed by Rainier National Bank, the predecessor to Bank of America. For over 30 years, he was senior vice president in their Seattle office until his retirement in 2010. During this time, he led national process improvement project teams of Six Sigma practitioners to improve the quality of sales, fulfillment and service, as well as achieved expense reduction to increase shareholder value. These projects were projected to have had several million dollars in annualized savings benefits, resulting from the elimination of defects that affected customer satisfaction and revenue streams. Mr. Webster pursued additional NASD series 6 and series 63 securities licenses in 1993. He completed the certificated Pacific Coast Banking School through the University of Washington, completed the executivemanagement certificated program at the University of Washington, and received a Six Sigma black belt in 2005. Civically involved, he was a treasurer and founding board member of the Lynnwood Sister CitiesAssociation, chair of the board of trustees of Edmonds College, past president and current board member of the Lynnwood Facilities District, and community member of the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team (SMART). Mr. Webster was named Branch Manager of the Year by Bank of America in 1990, earned the Leadership, Excellence and Neighborhood Development (LEND) Award in 2001 and was selected for the 2016 City of Lynnwood Citizen of the Year Excellence Award. He served as sergeant and first class airman in the United States Air Force in the mid-to-late 1960s. Drawing upon two AA degrees in arts in science and applied science in business administration from Columbia Basin Community College, Wallace “Wally” Webster II earned a BSBA and MA in organizational behavior fromCentral Washington University.
