Starting as a front desk associate, she wanted to be more hands-on with patients. She has gained expertise as a certified medical assistant, surgical assistant and Mohs surgical assistant. Drawing inspiration from helping doctors during procedures, she thought of a solution to an everyday problem. Watching the pain that the patients would endure gave Ms. Carreras an idea to offer a proactive approach to ward off these conditions before they begin.
