However, in his ever-present pursuit of knowledge, he continued to train and focused his studies on the neurological aspects of radiology. For the first several years of his career, Dr. Chintapalli served in private practice. During this time, he thoroughly enjoyed the work he conducted but, nevertheless, felt that an integral part of medicine was missing. Shortly thereafter, he delved into academia and began teaching medical students as an assistant professor of radiology at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he presently teaches today. In addition to this venture, Dr. Chintapalli excels as a staff neuroradiologist at the Hospital VA Hospital. Notably, his own father is a retired physician who also worked in the VA health system for numerous decades. To remain abreast of changes in the medical field, Dr. Chintapalli has maintained affiliation with the American Head and Neck Society and the American Society of Neuroradiology. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is the proud father of two daughters, who serve as his pride and joy. Dr. Chintapalli dedicates much of his time to teaching his daughters the fundamentals of life, as well as how to serve others in charitable efforts. Additionally, he has one grandchild. Looking toward the future, Dr. Chintapalli intends to continue providing medical aid to those who require it. Congruent to this task, he also would like for his children to live bright, healthy and happy lives with promising futures. A native of India, he currently resides in Sugar Land, Texas. F rom a young age, Dr. Harish “Hash” C. Chintapalli has desired to make a difference in the lives of those around him. Deciding thereon to enter the field of medicine, he received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1997 and became licensed to practice medicine in the DR.
