Early in his life, Mr. Moaadel was encouraged to enter the field by the president of the Washington Board of Realtors, who recognized Mr. Moaadel’s potential. Following the establishment of his own business, he took real estate courses at American University in 1977. He is a realtor emeritus at the National Association of Realtors. Mr. Moaadel has notably been recognized in a number of magazines spanning across the world and, in 2019, he was featured on the cover and in an article in Potomac Magazine. Civically involved, he is on the board of directors of the Holy Cross Health Foundation, which he cites as a career highlight. Mr. Moaadel was born in Iran and immigrated to the United States in 1964 to pursue his career. He has four children and one grandchild and enjoys landscaping and traveling in his spare time. After spending nearly two decades in real estate, Michael L. Powell decided to harness his entrepreneurial spirit and establish his own business. Founding BeHome LLC in 2018, he has served as the real estate development business’ owner. Impressively, sales volume blossomed from $4 million to $24 million during the COVID-19 pandemic between 2020 and 2021. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of residential development at Syler Construction and GJM Development, real estate developer at Powell Enterprises & Development, and regional manager at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. He also excelled as the owner and publisher of KC Marketing Solutions for three years. Among the highlights of his career, Mr. Powell is especially proud of serving as the local chairman of the Kansas City Home Builders Association, in which he served for four fruitful years. Civically, he also engages in local high school events and participates with the Veterans Community Project in Kansas City, Missouri.
