The Chosen Kids Learning Center provides education to youth ages 6 weeks to 5 years old and has an enrollment of approximately 200 children. Ms. Henderson attributes her immense success to her willingness to continually learn as her life and career progress, as well as her own dedication to growing her successful business. Equipped with the motto, “Serving a chosen generation,” Ms. Henderson intends to open an additional location in five years’ time, which will become a center accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Earlier in her career, Ms. Henderson thrived in a myriad of executive level roles. From 2004 to 2012, she was a business manager for HER Realtors in Columbus, having also served as a payroll and cash accountant at another real estate company for a decade. Likewise, she currently serves as the owner of LB Cleaning Company LLC in Columbus, a role she has held since 2008. Holding a credential in child development, Ms. Henderson is presently pursuing an associate degree in early childhood education from Penn Foster to supplement her vast experience with the Chosen Kids Learning Center. As a woman of color and native of Columbus, she emphasizes that it is her life’s work to invest in the next generations within her local community. Since 2014, Leanna K.
