152 MILLENNIUM-SECOND EDITION D ely Po Go is an educator, nurse entrepreneur, philanthropist and community leader. She has amassed over four decades of experience in the nursing field. Dr. Go earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Silliman University, where she was honored as the 2013 Most Outstanding Alumni. She earned her Doctor of Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU). Dr. Go was the recipient of FDU’s 2014 Most Distinguished and Outstanding Alumni. A hard worker and dedicated leader, she is the founder and owner of Nursing Network, LLC, where she has served as the president for nearly 20 years. She was the founder and chief executive officer of AVTECH Institute and Allied Health. She serves as member of the Advisory Board of FDU’s Henry P. Becton School of Nursing and Allied Health, and assistant professor at William Paterson University. Dr. Go has been recognized for her contributions to the nursing profession by the New Jersey League for Nursing. Among her many awards, Dr. Go was named Entrepreneur Nurse of the Year by the Philippines Nurses Association of America, Inc., and was honored by the National Federation of Filipino American Associations as anOutstanding Filipino Achiever. Dr. Go was also chosen as one of the 2010 New Jersey Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ. For her philanthropic work of helping poor children around the world, the Women’s Federation for World Peace awarded her the 1999 Woman of Peace Award. Through its annual Divas and Dons in Nursing celebration, the Institute for Nursing calls attention to the outstanding achievements of accomplished New Jersey nurses. Dr. Go is the recipient of this year’s 2019 Diva Award for advancing health care in New Jersey for her career longevity, philanthropic endeavors and lasting contributions to the society.
