Nguyen, a native of Saigon, Vietnam and former POW/MIA special mission commander, has dedicated the latter portion of his life to protecting the American public from such despicable acts through counterterrorism efforts. Born Nguyen Cong Khanh before Americanizing his name in 1997, Mr. Nguyen served in the U.S. Army during a time when horrendous war crimes were being committed by North Vietnamese communists.
