A Marquis Who's Who Magazine 271 L icensed clinical psychologist and health service provider Dr. Kirmach Natani has over five decades of experience assessing, diagnosing and treating the psychological problems and behavioral dysfunctions of people who live with mental illnesses. Dr. Natani began his professional career as a physics technician at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory in 1958, serving in that position for five years before volunteering with the Peace Corps in Thailand in 1963. Three years later, he returned to the United States as a clinical researcher at the Oklahoma City VA Hospital. During his tenure there, he earned a Master of Science in clinical psychology from Oklahoma University in 1970 and a PhD in neuroscience/neuropsychology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1977. Currently in private practice as a clinical neuropsychologist and consultant for Bi-State Neurometric Services, he has also been a consultant for a disability service since 2012. Dr. Natani has shared his knowledge as the author of “The Serendipity & Discovery in Behavioral Neuroscience,” numerous articles in professional journals, and chapters in books. His work earned him the Roche Laboratories Award in 1973 and grants from the Nature Publishing Group and the National Science Foundation’s division of polar programs. He has been featured in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who’s Who in the World. Dr. Natani is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Psychological Association, the New York Academy of Sciences, the Missouri Psychological Association, the American Board of Disability Analysts, the American Board of Professional Psychology, and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research.
