A Marquis Who's Who Magazine 299 F or over 15 years, Suzanne B. Quinn has been a practitioner in the legal field. Before starting her career, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminology and labor management relations from the University of St. Michael’s College and a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law. Shortly after earning her degrees, she gained admission to the New York State Bar and then returned to Canada, where she was admitted to the Ontario bar. An articulate and skilled debater, she has led an impressive career as an attorney whose efficacy and reputation precede her. Mrs. Quinn gained much experience in the area of labor law after opening her own practice, which handled real estate, wills, power of attorney, estate administration and corporate cases. The firm was later expanded to include family law and now focuses on a collaborative procedure in which attorneys work with clients who go through the mediation process to reach out-of- court agreements that are favorable for all parties. Outside of her private practice, she recently joined a teamof expertswithTheCommonSenseDivorce, an organization that aims to provide quick, efficient, stress-free and complete separations. In an effort to inspire personal and professional excellence in others, Mrs. Quinn recently finished writing a book designed to empower women. Also a motivational speaker, she covers topics that focus on helping others regain control of their lives, finances and careers in aworldwhere instant gratification and a sense of entitlement have replaced hardwork and patience. She is amember of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Business Women Network Association. Mrs. Quinn, who attributes her success toher hardwork andperseverance, aswell as the support she receives fromher family, hopes to develop her practice and do more motivational speaking in the years ahead.
