A native of Hamilton, Montana, Mr. Schueler is in the process of opening Flying Squirrel Missoula, an immense indoor trampoline park with a laser maze, dining space and recreation center just about an hour from where he grew up. In business with his twin brother, Luke, Mr. Schueler envisions a place where the entire family can come and enjoy themselves, whether they’re into high-flying tricks in the air or prefer to play it a little safer in the foam pits. Even the tiniest tots are welcome at the new facility, which will feature a Kiddie Court where toddlers and other small children can also join in on the fun. Mr. Schueler and his brother opened the first Flying Squirrel (www.flyingsquirrelsports. com) location in 2010 and have since launched another six throughout the country, as well as one in Calgary, Alberta with plans for others in several Canadian and Central American cities. With a focus on safety, aesthetics, cleanliness and a warm, inviting atmosphere, they are committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence at each of the facilities they operate. Though the franchise conversation has come up, all locations are currently company-owned and will likely continue expanding internationally due to market saturation in the U.S. For his part in it all, Mr. Schueler hopes that he will be able to grow the business to include more than 100 trampoline parks all over the world in the next three to five years.
