A Marquis Who's Who Magazine 451 V irginia Greenleaf Koch established a career in the arts that has spanned over seven decades. Inspired at a young age in Old Lyme, Conn., which was an artists’ colony in the 19th century, she grew up watching painters and was influenced by a teacher at a college preparatory school. She later honed her artistic abilities studying with luminary painters in both classic and contemporary styles, such as Ivan Olinsky, Robert Brackman and Gene Davis. Her work has been featured in many one-woman shows across the nation, including the Studio Gallery, the Jane Haslem Gallery, the In-Town Gallery, the Main Street Gallery, and the Gallery at Essex Meadows. Her work also hangs in the permanent collection of the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts. She is most proud of working in Gene Davis’ studio in Washington, D.C. Aside from her career, Ms. Greenleaf Koch has remained active in her community by serving on many committees and on the board of directors of the Nantucket Arts Council, a position she has held since 1970. PAINTER Flourtown, PA VIRGINIA GREENLEAF KOCH C ombining her meticulous legal knowledge with her passion for helping others, Stephanie Green has devoted the majority of her practice to cases involving immigration and political asylum. Starting with Nicaraguans, Colombians and Venezuelans, she was instrumental in stirring the support and awareness in Washington, D.C., that led to the Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act of 1997, which has since granted permanent residency to hundreds of thousands of refugees seeking relief within the United States. Ms. Green completed a JD through the University of Miami in 1978 and was admitted to The Florida Bar one year later. Beginning her career in aviation legal work, she became the principal of her own legal office in 1987. Ms. Green is currently involved with the International Society for Human Rights and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, in addition to providing pro bono work for the Immigrant Support Foundation. She formerly served as a volunteer immigration attorney with the Colombian American Service Association. For her conviction to her work, Ms. Green has received accolades from the Venezuela Awareness Foundation, the Colombian American Service Association and the International Society for Human Rights.
