Bartz knows that before a difference can be made in the world, a significant amount of work needs to be done first. From flying in the United States Air Force to captaining aircraft for United Airlines and starting her own holistic lifestyle and integrative nutrition coaching company, Ms. Bartz has approached every job she’s had in her 34 years of professional experience with a go-getter mindset that grew from a simple childhood desire to fly in the sky. Debra knew from the time she was 10 years old that she wanted to be a pilot. She was in the third class of women to graduate from the United States Air Force Academy in 1982 and began her 20-year career as an Air Force Officer soon after, which included earning her wings in her first year out of the academy, being the human services administrator for the 128th Air Refueling Wing Medical Squadron, and serving part time in the Air National Guard. Today Debra is a plane captain for the San Francisco operations of United Airlines and the owner of Learn Conquer Soar Coaching. Her holistic lifestyle and integrative nutrition coaching company came to be after she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and began to feel that her medical facility was more concerned with starting her on a drug not tested and accepted for use by the Federal Aviation Administration instead of finding the cause of her ailment. Not wanting to end her career as a pilot, Debra began attending the State University of New York- accredited Institute for Integrative Nutrition program. She later became a board-certified holistic practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, a certified Mastery Transformational Coaching Method coach, and a hormone-trained specialist who regularly helps clients to learn their mindset principles, conquer their food and mind issues, and soar to success. Debra, who earned a Master of Science from Golden Gate University in 1989, has always sought to make a difference in the lives of those she’s met and for women in holistic health and aviation.
