420 MILLENNIUM-SECOND EDITION P eter Zasuly was behind the scenes of several productions as a child, having had several family members who were involved in film, television and the entertainment industry. He naturally gravitated toward television, attending the New YorkUniversity (NYU) Tisch School of theArts and earning a bachelor’s degree in 1986. He has since worked for numerous entertainment companies in the past three decades, including Film Garden Entertainment, Tri-Crown Entertainment, Associated Television International, Original Productions, Painless Productions, DME Productions, and Pilgrim Studios, Inc. Mr. Zasuly is currently an executive producer and director with Random Pictures and the broadcast arm of LEG, formerly the Levity Entertainment Group, which is the result of a 2009 merger. As both a producer and director, he runs vigorous productions, directing up to 13 cameras on particularly hectic days and producing 13 PETER ZASULY EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, DIRECTOR Random Pictures Santa Monica, CA shows per season. He is most renowned for his work on such programs as “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team,” “A Home for the Holidays,” “Cops” and “Ghost Hunters.” In addition, he has lent his time and expertise to more than 30 shows for the Discovery Channel. A member of the Directors Guild of America, Mr. Zasuly values quality and integrity and structures his companies to be world-class organizations. He enjoys remaining abreast of recent developments, having noticed that major players in the film and television industries are more inclined to encourage and inspire women in recent years. He was awarded Best of Show, Best Documentary, and Achievement in Videography at the NYU Video Festival for his thesis, “Quest to Be Best,” with George Plimpton. In addition, he received three Cine Golden Eagle Awards, as well as the Gold Award for his work on TLC’s “U.S. Swat” and a Platinum Award for “Cat People” on Animal Planet.
