A Marquis Who's Who Magazine 445 A chartered professional engineer with more than 25 years of experience collaboratingwith design-build teams for large-scale civil and geotechnical engineering projects, Anthony “Tony” Fairclough has served as a project manager on numerous private and public infrastructure projects in the U.S., Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and most recently New Zealand. Currently based in Christchurch providing management and technical support as a geotechnical coordinator on the South Island for Tonkin & Taylor, the country’s premier environmental and engineering consultancy, he previously worked out of Auckland for four years as a senior geotechnical engineer. In addition to overseeing the design and construction of roads, rail lines and bridges, Mr. Fairclough is responsible for drafting technical documents in accordance with industry standards. The recipient of a Master of Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, he recently completed a diploma of managerial excellence in construction and engineering through the New Zealand Institute of Management. In addition to his membership with the Institute of Professional Engineers NewZealand and the American Society of Civil Engineers, Mr. Fairclough is an elected committee member, treasurer and vice chair of the New Zealand Geotechnical Society. Einhorn is a preeminent educator whose expertise spans nearly four decades. Teaching communication ethics, social action and compassionate nonviolent communication, she possesses a fiery passion for her students’ growth and understanding and has been known to emotionally move her audience through documentaries and films. Aware that her students intertwine their desire for social movement with their inner turmoil, she utilizes their fervor in order to implement genuine change. The recipient of a BA and MA in speech communication from the Pennsylvania State University and a PhD in speech communication from Indiana University Bloomington, Dr. Einhorn has been a professor at Binghamton University since 1979. Due in part to her tenacity for learning, she has received numerous accolades, including the Teaching Award from the National Communication Association, the Edward Hunt Award from the Eastern Communication Association, and the Teaching Award from the New York City chapter of the National Speakers Association.
