490 MILLENNIUM-SECOND EDITION H eather Rawlings-Davis’ entrance into the chocolate world came seven years ago when she began operating her gourmet chocolate, caramel sauce and hot fudge business after a previous career as an educator and children’s author. Grown with sustainable farming practices and techniques and made with only the finest ingredients, her products are available in grocery stores, specialty retail stores and food distributors. Ms. Rawlings-Davis prepared for her career by obtaining a master’s degree in education, as well as attending culinary classes, conducting research and getting support from a very large community of chocolate lovers. Her high sense of motivation continues driving her as she competes with larger chocolate brands and reaches for her ultimate goal of having her products available internationally. She is a member of the National Federation of Independent Business and was featured on the cover of Women of Distinction in February 2016. In her spare time, Ms. Rawlings-Davis donates to charitable organizations, including Banner Children’s at Diamond Children’s Medical Center.
