She is the former president of the historic Salmagundi Club in New York City, where she has exhibited her own work since the turn of the century. Over the years, Ms. Seymour has been called upon to act as a judge and member of the jury for various art shows. Long before establishing herself as a widely collected artist, Ms. Seymour dedicated the majority of her time to family life. With her only son’s growing independence, she began to wonder what she would do after he graduated from high school. Ms. Seymour started taking art classes, a decision that ultimately led to her discovery of her hidden affinity for creative endeavors. Today, she shares her knowledge and expertise as a lecturer in the field and teacher of her own art classes.
