During his childhood in Chicago, his father operated a popular deli where the younger Mr. Creinin held every position possible, from dishwasher to busboy. He became an executive chef and strengthened his interest in the culinary field along the way. He also thought further about the role he could play in the hospitality industry. Mr. Creinin’s capacity for utilizing resources and being in the right place at the right time has led to the creation of Coastal Lifestyles Inc. and Gabriella’s Italian Grill and Pizzeria, a property management company and eatery for which he serves as president and chief executive officer. Coastal Lifestyles Inc. came to be after Mr. Creinin’s experience in the hotel industry opened his eyes to a need for property management services. Founded in 2006 and having since expanded to 75 properties across South Padre Island, Coastal Lifestyles Inc (www. vacationpadre.com) has become the area’s leading marketer of luxury properties, including bungalows, penthouses, condominiums, homes in gated communities, and beachside mansions. Mr. Creinin owns and operates multiple businesses and oversees over 145 employees in the restaurant industry. Rated the number one Italian restaurant and pizzeria on the Texas Gulf Coast by TripAdvisor, Gabriella’s Italian Grill and Pizzeria (www.gabriellasspi.com ) serves at times over 3,500 guests per week in a 150-seat restaurant. Mr. Creinin, who interviews every potential candidate before offering them a job, expects his employees to carry out the same amount of work that he would. This personal approach is a small part of a much larger process for building on his professional empire, as he also never forgets to motivate his team and keep their ideas for growth as a priority. He has also adapted fully to the times — Gabriella’s Italian Grill and Pizzeria has expanded their menu and introduced online ordering. Mr. Creinin’s latest venture in the culinary industry is a high-volume catering company that will produce over 3,000 meals a week for churches, schools, apartment complexes, the Boys & Girls Club, and other organizations providing meal services.
