Alongside his role in the legal field, Mr. Harris is equally as passionate about professional racing. He has served on the board of directors of the International Speedway Corporation for more than 30 years and is a member of the automobile competition committee for the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile. A founding member and officer of Grand American Road Racing, LLC, he also served as a managing board member for AMA Pro Racing for three years. Mr. Harris has upheld an AV-Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell since 2017. He has been highlighted in several editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in the World. W ith nearly 50 years of professional experience, Christy Franklin Harris has served as of counsel for Kinsey, Vincent, Pyle, P.L. in Daytona Beach, Florida, since 2003. His practice focuses on the areas of business law, commercial transactions, estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate and contracts. At the beginning of his career, he served the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as a military judge and judge advocate before retiring from the military as a captain in 1977. To prepare for his career, Mr. Harris pursued a formal education at Oxford College of Emory University, earning an Associate of Arts in 1965. He went on to attend the University of Florida in 1967 and receive a Bachelor of Arts before obtaining a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida in 1970. While pursuing his law degree, he acted as a research editor for the University of Florida Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
